Leather Products
Exporters of Leather products must comply with the new technical regulations, which published by SASO on 28 January 2021, under the title of Technical Regulation of Leather Products 03-09-21-179.
The Regulation applies to:
- All leather products – whether natural leather
- or synthetic leather or a mixture of both – and to their articles.
Exceptions:
- Leather that are subject to the provisions of the Technical Regulation of Leather and the relevant standards.
- Animal hides (pre-tanning), as they are considered raw materials intended for manufacturing and not a finished product intended for direct consumption.
